What is the Whore of Babylon up to these days?
by rebel8 inwhen i left decades ago, she was like 76 years old, smoking crack and wearing way too much makeup for her age.. the rumor was the wts was sending the flock messages about the closeness of the big a based on how old the whore looked.. by now she ought to be like 95. she probably lives in a rest home and can't crawl up on the beast anymore because of her arthritis.
she just rides her hoveround now.. she's probably annoying her roommates with repetitive stories of the good old days when she used to ride the wild beast and it would do her bidding.. i imagine she tells this story about every 15 minutes, forgetting what she said earlier because of dementia..

Billy's Comments You Won't Hear at the 01-19-2014 WT Study (7 Shepherds, 8 Dukes)
by Billy the Ex-Bethelite in16-20. we shall also have to raise up against him seven shepherds, yes, eight dukes of mankind.mic.
what is the most important thing that you can do now to prepare for any future attack on gods people?.
all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.. .

Thanks Billy.
No offense to Blondie but I never read hers as they are too involved and too many quotes, ... i like your "simplified" style much better, maybe she could adopt it LOL.

Is this a prevalent attitude among Jehovah's Witness?
by Honesty inone jehovah's witness says that people deserve the evil rulers they have because god gives them the ruler they deserve.. okaaay.. jehovah's witnesses teach that 'true' christians refuse to vote, 'true' christians refuse to take up arms and revolt against oppressive governments but if a country gets an evil dictator it is the people's fault and they deserve it because god gives them what they deserve.. in other words, according to one jehovah's witness, god is the author of evil because the people of an entire country got what they deserve from him.. .

I have heard that view expressed regarding the question about the unfairness of the preaching work and how some cultures wont get a reasonable chance to hear the message, meaning that the deaths of millions at armageddon will be on their leaders heads for not allowing the preaching work and that the fact that the people didnt do anything to change their governments in order to have the chance to hear the "good news" meant they deserved ther fate at armageddon.
I wouldnt say this view is common, but I have heard it several times over the years. Basically it's just dubs trying to rationalise an unpleasnt side effect of their belief system, that millions (billions) wont get a fair chance to convert before being killed by their all loving god...

When A Fellow Apostate Goes Insane, What Can We Do To Help?
by RottenRiley ini don't know how to handle the situation with a fellow apostate who has lost their mind due to this evil cult.
this guy is texting many of the elders under alias of six different cell-phones no less than twenty times a day.. .
we had to change the locks at the kingdom hall because he was still stalking and prowling around the hall after advertsing he had left the kingdom hall and we were all no less than mind-dead zombies sucking out of the life of thinking individuals.

He may well have lost the plot and need help with his issues. Get in touch with the Samaritans (or similar) or the Police for advice on what can be done.
I dont think it's funny to allow him to unravel publicly and self destruct with potential for harm to others. As you point out his actions are doing absolutely nothing to free anyone form the cult either.

Apples and oranges...
http://www.asktheatheists.com/questions/1788-do-atheists-deny-the-existence-of-socrat/
One answer there was this:
Eric_PK
It’s very simple.
That Socrates existed is not an extraordinary claim; he is said to have been an excellent teacher and philosopher.
That somebody named Jesus existed is not an extraordinary claim.
That he was the son of god, was raised from the dead, and performed miracles – not(sic) that is an extraordinary claim.
Or, to put it another way, if Socrates did not exist, it’s not a big deal to my worldview. But if Jesus did not exist – or was not a god – it’s a huge deal to the christian worldview.
So, to summarize:
Socrates: Ordinary claim, minimal effect on my worldview.
Jesus: Extraordinary claim, huge effect on the christian worldview.
That is why they are different.
